CRICKET: Gloucs call for Beard

All-rounder Michael Beard has been offered a place in the full Gloucestershire academy for the 2008-9 winter programme.
Beard, who plays for Thame Town and represented Oxfordshire Under 15s and 16s last season, will train on Wednesdays and Sundays, starting in November.
