BASKETBALL: Eagles are flying high

Oxford Brookes Eagles Under 16s warmed up for the new season with a 50-46 home win over Premiership side Reading Rockets.
The side has been rebran- ded this season following a merger between Abingdon Eagles and Oxford Brookes University.
Now the club, who play in the Conference, have players from Abingdon, Witney, Wallingford and Oxford.
With only three seconds left on the clock and a slender two-point advantage to Eagles, Jordan Sandiford coolly sunk both free throws to clinch victory in the clash at Oxford Brookes.
