Riley A made it three wins out of three in Oxford and District Billiards League Division 1 with a 2-1 victory at New Club.
Matthew Challen (+40) made a 22 break and beat Ian Gee (+50) 200-143, despite breaks of 25 and 21 by Gee.
Malcolm Bough (+70) then saw off Alan King (+30) 200-158 to make it 2-0.
Alan Mander (+60) got New Club their point by beating Allan Copelin (+90) 150-109.
Fieldside are hot on their heels in second after a 3-0 win over CCC A.
Bob Chivers (-30) sent them on their way as he rattled in breaks of 24, 33, and 40 in his 200-120 win against Keith Pearce.
Paul Robinson (-60) thrashed Dick Hashman (-10) with two breaks of 40 and 65 as he won 200-136.
Mike Chapman (+100) hung on against Terry Cook (+20) to win by 200-175.
Division 2 leaders Ashton recorded their fourth successive win as they beat HCC A 2-1.
Ashton continued their winning run as they saw off HCC A 8-1.
Although Ghassan Al-Murani (+90) gave HCC A a running start by beating Keith Maskens (+50) narrowly 150-145, Ashton won the next two games and the match when Pete Fenn (+50) beat Doug Howse (+30) 200-141 helped by a 25 break and John Street (+70) beat John Williams (+70) 150-125 despite a break of 27 by Williams.
Eynsham moved level on points with Ashton as they eased to a 3-0 win against Riley B.
Dean Watson (+40) got them off to a superb start, beating Roger Tomlin (+70) 200-116.
Mick McCluskey (+90) won his first match when he beat Doug Baker (+60) 150-77.
Roy Gascoyne (+110) won his third match by beating Bob Hayward (+70) 150-96 to make it a clean sweep.
Thame got the better of CCC B 2-1.
Paul Evans (+20) made a 35 break and beat John Simpson (+30) 200-148, with Simpson making a 26 break in reply.
Ken Olive (+70) levelled the match, beating Peter Hawkes (+130) 115-118.
But Nigel Bossom (scratch) won the match for Thame when he got the better of Brian Mabbutt (+20) 200-179, making a 26 break in the process. Mabbutt replied with a 29.
Results: Fieldside 3, CCC A 0; New Club 1, Riley A 2; HCC A 1, Ashton 2; CCC B 1, Thame 2; Riley B 0, Eynsham 3.
